THERE IS A NEAR-MINT CLASSIC SKODA 120 FOR SALE IN BC.....with just under 2-days of auction time left, with NO RESERVE and a current bid of only $2016 US for the car PLUS lots of spare parts.
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
I would buy this if I were anywhere near it, even without a garage because that seems like a screaming deal if somebody could get it for not much more than that!
Did I mention classic rear-engined Skoda? In Canada? (yes, I know, a few WERE actually sold here)
Somebody buy it and love it!
.......PIANO-HINGED FRUNK!!!

It’s only down in Vancouver, too. Come on, Boss, why get a Challenger when you can have this?

Holy crap. I think I saw that very Skoda at a car show in Victoria once. Funny how even in the presence of an Esprit and a Pantera, the Skoda was my favourite of that show.
I doubt there’s more than one in that area of the country. If there is, I’d be very surprised.

No...the Cavalier is too old to get a car that won’t be a reliable dd lol.

The previous owner is on one of the forums I’m on. He took really good care of it, and I think he’s trying to buy it back. The current owner was supposed to tell him if he was going to sell it, kinda shitty of him to just try and flip it. He bought it a few months ago I think. Anyways, it's exactly as good as it looks.

The previous owner had two more at one point. I don't know what happened to them though.

Sure, it’s a very clean Skoda, and sure, it’s rear engine/RWD, but it gives me such a confused feeling inside

Yes! And then bring it out to autoslalom in May if you’re anywhere near Halifax. Rear engine cone dodging!

I bet the alternator works. Too soon? :)
(that was, by the way, a truly epic alternator saga)

The Skoda 120 was rear-engined, so the motor’s way out the back! :)

My thoughts exactly! :D

Oh, that’s actually a shame...hopefully, if he is buying it back, he can get it for fairly cheap! It would honestly LOVE to get it, myself, but...
A. I’m on the other side of the country in Nova Scotia.
B. I could afford the car (if the bids don’t go much higher), but don’t have a place to put it and prob couldn’t afford to insure it right now.
C. Don’t have a permanent full-time job for any of the above-related purchases/charges at the moment...
Kindof cruel of the current owner, really...I hope the previous fella can get his baby back! :)

It’s OK.....that feeling is just surges of awesomeness.

They are actually surprisingly reliable from everything I’ve read...

HA! Well thanks, I am glad you enjoyed it. I am somewhat proud of that entire saga.
